James Maddison's FPL team gives huge Tottenham squad hint ahead of Burnley clash

James Maddison's Fantasy Premier League team may have leaked a change to Tottenham's line-up against Burnley.

The England international, who has hit the ground running in north London, has put one of his team-mates on the bench while drafting another in to the starting XI before their trip to Turf Moor.

Richarlison is the man to drop out Wirth defender Destiny Udogie coming in following his fine start to life under Ange Postecoglou.

FPL players will be delighted that the late change doesn't relate to Maddison himself, with 23% of players having the 26-year-old in their squads ahead of the fourth match of the season.

One fan said in response to the Twitter reveal: "Hmmm must mean Richarlison might not be starting." A second asked: "Do teams have rules where players can't own themselves in FPL?"

A third posted: "How does he not have himself, that's crazy." A fourth then added: "The real question is why doesn’t he have himself."

It appears as though Spurs have not followed those regulations, but Postecoglou might not be best pleased if Richarlison does indeed miss out.

A tactical change could then become the knowledge of Burnley boss Vincent Kompany, but there could be a simpler reason.

Maddison might well have favoured the chances of Erling Haaland and Ollie Watkins of scoring this week - with rival Buyako Saka in his midfield.
