Nicolas Puech, French businessman, and descendant of the Hermès founder obviously has stacks of money, and he’s made a decision to leave an astonishing amount to none other than his gardener.
The luxury tycoon is said to own a whopping $13.8 billion fortune and reportedly filed papers to adopt his 51-year-old gardener, which would leave him with a more than generous inheritance. Nicolas Puech apparently hopes to leave at least half to the man.

Nicolas Puech plans to leave billions to his gardener
The 80-year-old fifth-generation descendant of Hermès founder Thierry Hermès, and has a hefty fortune himself.
It’s reported Nicolas Puech, who is childless, plans to leave his gardener over half his estate, which is estimated to be around $6 billion.
If the adoption of his former greenskeeper goes through, it’ll make him Nicolas’ rightful heir, Tribune de Genève reports.
Not much is known about the lucky former handyman, although the publication reported he was from a “modest Moroccan family”, and has two kids with a wife from Spain.
But, it may not be that easy. The 80-year-old heir formerly had a contract with the charity, Isocrates Foundation, which he founded, to leave his fortune to.
As per Bloomberg, the contract with the Foundation reportedly states Nicolas will leave his fortune to them unless he becomes a father. It reportedly states his child would be entitled to some of his billions, and if it’s a son, 50%.
Hermès family are amongst the wealthiest in the world
With the price and quality of their garments, it’s no wonder the family is amongst the richest in the world.
The Hermes family now boasts a net worth of $94.6 billion, as reported by The US Sun, which started when Thierry Hermes opened the first Paris store in 1837.
Best known for its stunning handbags, the fashion house also sells a range of luxury scarves, perfume, jewelry, and the list goes on and on.
