Billie Eilish spoke about many different topics, including her sexuality, in a new interview with Variety. This has caused some fans to share and discuss her previous comments on being “straight as a ruler.’
Billie Eilish’s sexuality thrown into the spotlight
The music star said that although she is physically attracted to women, she feels “intimidated” by them, and struggles to relate to other women.
The celebrity admitted: “I’ve never really felt like I could relate to girls very well. I love them so much. I love them as people.”
“I’m attracted to them as people. I’m attracted to them for real…,” she said. “I have deep connections with women in my life… I’m physically attracted to them. But I’m also so intimidated by them and their beauty and their presence.”

But fans never forget her ‘straight as a ruler’ remark
The What Was I Made For? singer, who recently got a daring back tattoo, has spoken openly about her sexuality and said that she is “not gay at all.”
“I’m straight as a ruler — are rulers straight? Yeah, I’m very, very, very, very straight,” she says in the video. She then says that she is “proud” and that it’s “cool” if she made people “go gay.”
“I like men,” she continues, “but f***ing girls are sick too so like, I have nothing against girls I just don’t find them …” and then says she is “going to stop talking about that.”
In the comments, people have been making jokes about her “sus” comments.
“I think she means one of those snap bracelet rulers,” wrote one person.
Another said: “The closet is lowkey invisible.”
A third penned: “That was so convincing.”
The pressures of fame

The 21-year-old has previously said that she struggles with the level of stardom that she has, but is now doing “better.”
The celebrity told Allure: “But I can do that. That’s the thing about diving into the hurt — I don’t need to do that. I don’t need to do that. I’m starting to do better, but I’ve not been doing so great, to be honest. For a while. I have impending doom feelings most of the day.”
She continued: “When I think too much about it, how I can never have privacy again, it’s enough to make you want to do all sorts of crazy things. But you have to let it go.”
